    Xante Impressia opinions

I'm lucky, my rep, Sid, has been very helpful, he told me about the paper size when I first got it. We purchased the HWC/Platemaker last February and they even fixed a driver so I could print from 2 color jobs from my Mac right into iQueue to out put to plates.

    Xante Impressia opinions

I have a Impressia, mine is very picky about the #10 envelopes, I found Athenian works best for me, very rarely jams. 9x12 is harder to print, I always forget to flip the thingamajig.

    InDesign CC 2017 lagging issue

I'm currently using a Mid 20111, 27" IMac with 20 gig or ram. Boss is thinking of upgrading to the Adobe Cloud some time in Feb/March. I am nervous, CS 6 is where we are now. I'm not sure my old iMac will handle the Cloud very well ... and I might not either.

    creative cloud subscription a ripoff

I work with CS6, snapped it up from Adobe when the cloud arrived. Does all I want, have no plans on upgrading. Of course, I do all my typesetting and graphics, if someone sends something in and it's in the Cloud version, I just ask that they save it down. Simple.

    CS6 and Apple OS

No problems with 10.10 running CS6, and no problems with 10.11 and CS6. I have CS6 on a 2010 Mac Pro at home running 10.11, fast. I think I did have to get an older version of java.

Now, I have an Impressia, no troubles with it. and I don't have any issues with support, maybe it's cause I always talk to my sales person first, we...

    Does anyone use Quark anymore?

Never used it until I changed employers about 15 years ago, only used Quark until InDesign came out, I have never looked back, BUT, I use CS6, I will not "rent" software from Adobe. I know several who did the cloud and wish now they had stuck with CS6.
