    Duplicating Pages in PDF

There's such an easy way to do this in native Acrobat. Takes only a few minutes. With thumbnails showing, select all 7 pages, hold down the Ctrl key, and drag the cursor to after the last page. Now you will have 14 pages (1 thru 7 and 1 thru 7). Repeat with all 14 pages to make 28, repeat with...

    Another Command Workstation Question

Fiery JobFlow can do it using its "Collect" module, but this module does not come with the free version of JobFlow; only the paid, commercial version.

Any discussion of touchpoints should be conducted in incognito mode. ;)

Best options for short ncr runs

I knew this couldn't be true (what your tech said), so in less than a minute of Googling I found that Xerox publishes a "Specialty Media Prospecting Guide" that states that carbonless (NCR) forms ARE allowed with the 560. It's on page 9. What you don't want to do is use carbonless paper made...

Connecting Konica C5501 & C6500 to one external rip?

Not to my knowledge. When there's a Fiery in the configuration, there is no KM RIP on production machines...but my knowledge of those earlier products is very limited, so I might be wrong. (It happens.) That is certainly the case with later models.

Connecting Konica C5501 & C6500 to one external rip?

What we have here is a mixup in terminology. People often confuse "Fiery" (the print controller) with "Command Workstation" (the user interface software associated with the Fiery). Each printer gets its own individual Fiery controller. That's hard and fast. But one copy of Command Workstation...

Connecting Konica C5501 & C6500 to one external rip?

No, not possible. You might be able to connect it, but the software won't permit it. Fiery controllers are all machine-specific.

Konica Minolta C3070...Any Opinions? Things to look out for?

Good, I'm glad to hear you were able to make the change. But when a sales rep says, "You can get away with <insert out-of-spec feature here>," I cringe. Because even though the machine is sold as "overbuilt," if you use the machine out-of-spec, that increases wear-and-tear, which in turn leads...

Konica Minolta C3070...Any Opinions? Things to look out for?

Both the PF-602 and the PF-707 have air assist; but the PF-602 has ribbed rollers the pull the top sheet into the paper path, whereas the PF-707 has a vacuum behind a perforated belt that moves the top sheet into the paper path. The C3070 is spec'ed for up to 350gsm paper weight, but only with...

Konica Minolta C3070...Any Opinions? Things to look out for?

I work for Konica production print in the US. If I could make one recommendation, when you say you got the "twin oversize high capacity trays" I assume you mean the friction-fed paper feed unit, model PF-602. Nearly all of my customers who get a paper feed unit opt for the vacuum-fed model...

    Fiery Color Profiler Suite Updates

No, that's reality. Most shops that get CPS knowingly do not purchase extended years of support beyond year 1, which comes with the software. It's a cost-saving move. I think it's a mistake. CPS has substantially improved over the years, so a continued support subscription, which not only...

    Fiery Color Profiler Suite Updates

Fortunately, this is an easy problem to solve. Old versions of Color Profiler Suite are downloadable from efi.com under the Support & Downloads link, then click on Application Software and Tools, and then select Fiery Color Profiler Suite on the left, and a list of old versions shows up on the...

    New KM AccurioPress

An HTML user's guide is available online for the machine. For the controller, which did you get? More importantly, what training commitment did your vendor make?

Recommendations on a mid level oversize printer/scanner?

Take a look at the KIP line: www.kip.com. Their model 770 or 7170 might be on point for what you're looking for. Nice, easy to use interface.

What machine to i need for Pharmaceutical labels

Take a look at the Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C71cf label printer, or the more recently introduced KM AccurioLabel 190. Full disclosure: I work for KM in the US.

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

You're probably right. Like I said, it was just experimental -- at best, a workaround. Sorry it didn't pan out.

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

I'm running Windows 10, so I don't have the ability to install the 1050 or 1051 PCL driver on my PC, but I did install the 1052 PCL driver, and thought I had found a workaround, but it didn't pan out. I tried also with the 1052 PS Plugin driver, and that didn't pan out either. But I noted that...

Xerox Versant 180 vs KM AccurioPress 2060

Note that you may configure the C2060 for long-sheet/banner printing OR for 350gsm, but not both at the same time. There are two mutually exclusive paper feed units (LU-202XL for the banners, PF-707 required for 350gsm).

Can konica 1100 PRO black printer do mix media? and how?

I assume he means the exception page are entered on a per-record basis, not the absolute page numbers in the whole job. So, assuming page 1 of 3 is the default (white) paper of the job, that's not a paper exception. But a page exception would have to be indicated for page 2 of the record, and...
