Are you talking about the Plockmatic LCT? Do you know what issues they had with it? Just curious I don't have one of those LCTs yet.

What I have been seeing is not that people are out but they are close and the toner seems to come just in time. I think they are used to having a much larger buffer on the shelf.

What model machine? Some of them have anti condensation heaters that can be connected. Some also have settings that can be changed that will make the machine basically clean the drum when you exceed a set humidity level.

What do you get if you print each color separately on that file? You can pick which colors you want to print on the image tab of job properties. I would expect to see the defect on all colors. If it's not on just one color you could try adjusting fusing speed or transfer speed.

There are no chips in the toners and the drum is just a drum not a unit so there are no chips in those either. There are no different parts in the Heidelberg one. The Heidelberg one is exactly the same as the Ricoh one.

Here is a article describing what to adjust for toner scattering on the trailing edge. They also say it could be from the guide on the bottom of the transfer belt being dirty.

I think it looks like a transfer issue but to see if it's the fuser you could do a panic stop before it goes through the fuser.

What brand are they? I see people run them from docucopy without a problem. Did you try and adjust trailing edge transfer?

J008 is paper not feeding from the bypass (the conveyer) could be the feed rollers, maybe the side guide position, how the envelopes are fanned out.

How many prints do you have on the machine? That fuser smoothing roller does need to get replaced. You can also set the machine to run it automatically for a short time every so many pages to keep the lines from getting bad enough that the smoothing roller won't get rid of them.

Good catch! Sorry I missed it but I see what you mean now. Do you know has anyone tried to turn off main scan registration / cross track / cross feed (whatever you want to call it) I could see it do that when it shifts the paper.
