    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Not saying to not do it but yes I think all that idling kills the machine! FYI there is a multi fold unit that can go on there. http://www.ricohbusinessbooster.com/solution/solutions/finishing/folders/fd5020-multi-folding-unit/ With the multifold unit it doesn't slow down like the finisher does.

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Yeah I get that the other machine works but I would look anyway. The tech would need to replace the transfer rollers. There are the five that transfer the image from the drums to the image transfer belt and the bias roller that pushes the image from the belt tp to the paper. The counts for those...

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Is the humidity inside the machine under skilled operators 30%? I could see the humidity drop inside the machine during a run. If you are doing all that stuff listed in the knowledge base article maybe it needs transfer rollers do you know if they have replaced those?

    Ricoh Production Printers and NCR

I have many people running NCR with no issues we have one place locally that just about runs all NCR. The 8200 officially supports it when you have the vacuum feed tray but the friction feed tray feeds it fine I just see marks sometimes where the pickup roller hits the paper. The only...

    Advice on entry production machine OKI9431 v Canon C650 v Xerox C70

That okidata one doesn't really look like it compares to the other two choices. I suppose it's a lot cheaper though. What can you get for a RIP on the okidata one? The xerox says you can get fiery on it.

Heidelberg Versafire CP vs. Ricoh 9110

The only difference is from Heidelberg you can get their Prinect digital front end I thought you could get the Fiery from them too. I go to places with the 7110 / Versafire CV / Linoprint from them that have Fiery anyway but maybe they stopped offering Fiery now? Do you have Fiery on the Xerox?

    Ricoh waste toner bottles

Do you ship back the full waste toner bottles to them?

    Ricoh waste toner bottles

Here may be some of why you guys are getting different answers. If you have Ricoh direct some machines the waste toner bottle is considered a supply item and some it is a part. If it is a supply as the 7110 is you can order them on myricoh if it is a part then service would need to order them. I...

    Versant 3100 Installed.

The 9110 is 130 ppm vs 75 on the J75 so I can't see it being 4 times faster unless the xerox one slows down on whatever media was being run but the search I did says it does not slow down on up to 300gsm. I just want you guys to post some pictures of your machines.

    Laser Safe ???

Not specifically with the 9110 but I have had some places do this with no problem and some have problems. I am sure it depends on the printer they are running it back through. Older machines seem to run at higher temps it seems like every new machine that comes out runs at a lower temp. You...
