Must be a new "feature" in Acrobat DC. Pages 2-6 are not flattened but the duplicated 7-11 are pages 2-6 flattened. If you flatten them one page at a time it doesn't do it.

The feature Adobe needs more than anything is a giant boxing glove popping out of the monitor and punching them in the face for creating a text heavy photoshop file. Photoshop is for editing photos. Right tool for the right job.

Had Adobe not made the option to open PDF's in Illustrator and Photoshop the world would be a better place. And don't get me started with people setting type and doing page layout in Photoshop.

You select the fixup and then in the upper right corner of the window click options and then select Create Droplet.

You edit the ColorTowerMap.txt file for the order the colors are printed on the press. The plate tower number is the color that are in the ColorTowerMap.txt file.

You can create a droplet for the preflight profile and place it somewhere and then just drop the PDF's on the droplet. Not completely automated but works well.

If you use 'Add Marks to Trim Box' and your media box is the same size as the bleed box you will only see small tick marks in the bleed area. I think the standard EAL's supplied with Pitstop put the marks outside the media box so you need to enlarge the media and crop box to show the marks.
