    Hi Magnus, yes I remember Stefan Jaeggi do some tests with the Ghent Output Suite with Affinity Publisher and they passed all tests. Hopefully this engine might find it's way into the Canva Platform.

    Inter is also available as a ‘normal’ font, so maybe that might be a path forward. I guess it depends on what you are doing in Indesign with the variable version.

    Variable fonts are not supported in PDF at the moment, so definitely not in PDF/X-4. I guess this is going to be like Opentype SVG fonts which are also not supported, the originating application is going to be responsible for saving them in some way that works for PDF output. Out of interest...

    Are you sure the output through the Photocopier will be ok? Was there a list of missing fonts, did you try embedding any of them? Not sure what the Fiery has as policies for missing fonts, but there should be other options apart from erroring? Also note the pages with the missing fonts listed...

    What do you use for Preflight? Going back to Postscript is a bit of a sledgehammer for things that can be resolved in PDF.

    Nope, that's the solution. If you have a file with only 'Registration' color you don't technically have a black separation.

    Trying Ripping this Test Suite. https://gwg.org/gos5/ It will tell you what PDF functionality and constructions your Rip does not support. Could help diagnosing the issue, it might just be configuration.
