We haven't run that brand, but we run lots of 10, 15 and 20 mil plastics. The biggest problem we have is the dirt it attracts from static. As long as you keep it clean and remove any dirt that gets on it, we haven't had any issues. It might be getting paper debris on it from the paper path...

We have switched almost everything to un-coated sheets. We have a skid of 100# Gloss Text and Cover that we use for our largest clients brochures, but if time allows we order them out to save what we have. The trade printers seem to be getting gloss paper so far.

We typically run small quantity roll labels in house on our solvent printer. It makes sense to send out to a specialty printer when the quantity gets up over 5,000.

The tabs we buy are easy to tear semi-translucent. The tape we apply is mylar. I can give those a shot, but my thought was that they were designed to be somewhat easy to tear. Size wise, we could easily do a 1" or even 1.5".

I wish we had those click rates. We have a 7210X that we are 3 years into and our click rates are .009 for B&W and .038 for color. I guess inflation hasn't hit the digital press market yet.

But you had to confirm that they weren't important. You don't even need to do that with electronic ads. You can ignore them alltogether.
