How do you know that the marketing people didn't have that word mis-spelled on purpose for effect? "Eat Mor Chickin"

You can forget the annual company picnic this year. Since we're not going to do it, our competitor will. Then, we'll need to spend tons of money to buy the patent and pigeon-hole it so as to protect our outdated software. Perhaps hot-dogs and hamburgers in Bill's back yard?

Is the Xerox Versant 180 good enough?

Definitely some kind of bot that's not very good. Nothing worse than ONE sentence with TWO subjects that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Kind of like saying: "Do you think I need to increase the magenta, or, did you bring your lunch today?"

    Ricoh for sale ;)

Just out of curiosity, is the tech still employed by that firm?

Is the Xerox Versant 180 good enough?

Ok, but, to what end? For what purpose? Maybe I'm just too old to understand.

Is the Xerox Versant 180 good enough?

So............was it the bot's purpose to drive you to their website?

Is the Xerox Versant 180 good enough?

Yes, I'm an old boomer. Retired. But, I still don't understand. Can someone please explain to me what the objective of a bot's response is? It's not trying to sell me anything, convince me to do anything, use a service, etc. So..........What's in it for the bot?

At least Leon would have known to ask "Where do I need to be to get the job?".

Is the Xerox Versant 180 good enough?

I don't understand this response. It starts out like she is a sales rep for Xerox (Pro V180), then says it's expensive, requires space and expertise (Con V180), and then finishes up by saying it's Ideal for print shops and large businesses (Pro V180). I'm confused..............

Storm Prep - What's Your Plan? - Open Discussion

It's Thursday afternoon down here in Central Florida, and, most schools and businesses are shut down for today in advance of the arrival of hurricane Helene. I've long since retired, but, back when I was still huffin n puffin, we had a specific "shut-down" procedure to follow in advance of an...

Ricoh 9210 Premature Fuser Belt Wear

I'm not an expert on the 9210, but, I tend to agree with @Stickman42 If what you are describing is a "grid-like" pattern, that doesn't sound like a fuser problem. Is there any way to stop (interrupt) a page after the charged toner application, but, before it enters the fuser, like...

Ricoh 9210 Premature Fuser Belt Wear

In a way.........he's exactly right! If you didn't run any paper through it, you would not see any fuser lines. Problem Solved! Next?

AI Handles that now, so, Leon needn't worry about rejection any longer. It's also much more successful. They take the calls. They know that the last thing you ever want to do is reject AI. AI controls everything, and, can make your life hell if you don't keep it happy.

Ricoh 9210 Premature Fuser Belt Wear

I guess I'm a little confused. Swapping out fusers to accommodate sheet sizes and quality issues is a normality for fuser-based machines. That's why they are so easy to swap out. Usually only two thumb screws and an easily accessible handle grasp at top (like a lunch box). Why do you have 3...

    Disappointment with Xerox Igen5

For some of you young-uns that may be a little confused, allow me to clear things up. You see, way back in the day, digital production presses used a component called a "fuser" to adhere the toner to the paper. It was a replaceable consumable (like toner) that was only good for xxxxx number of...

    Disappointment with Xerox Igen5

Soooo.......let me get this straight: You bought a machine that uses fuser oil 10-year-old technology, and, it won't do what you need it to do (what current machines will easily do). I get it. I'm still miffed that my 2014 Ford Fusion has no lane-assist, cameras, blue-tooth, or self-driving...

    Canon varioPRINT iX-series

Worked in a consulting capacity a couple of years ago for about 8 months at a facility that had one. Awesome machine, but, seemed, in my opinion, to go down more frequently than toner-based machines. YMMV.
