Ink Density Uniformity on Circumferential Direction

I think that smaller deviation for ManRoland 900 is due to bigger ink train and maybe better oscillators. Larger deviation for our 700 is due to not-the-best roller condition :) Regarding your data — IMHO, normal density variation during run is 0.08 D across the sheet You won't see difference...

Ink Density Uniformity on Circumferential Direction

Could you tell us what uniniformity on press sheet tail to head you're trying to achieve? In my experience 0.08-0.10 D is fine for ManRoland 700 and 0.05-0.08 D is fine for ManRoland 900. in any case you should probably add to your checklist rollers condition both ink and dampening

Kodak Sonora X - DOP issues

Revolutions , well probably it is But on another hand — i see your problems arise near the edge of the plates. Question about plate curves

This is 100% true, but have to add that it affect any bitmap — doesn't matter if it is raster data or anything else (0,1) RIP knows how to alter 8-bitt data before converting to 1bit raster. I personally don't know any RIP that can alter 1bit data directly. But if one will use, say, descreen...

is there a way to choke a color in Prinergy?

Well, you should first chek in Acrobat with overprint preview, if Y truly knocks out M. In prinergy you should check your settings in colorconvert section of the refine process. Look for overprint conversion options. You can set all CMYK to knockout via first checkbox:
