The Duplo 280 or 290 is a good machine too. Its twice the price but can you get parts or service with some of those cheaper brands?? Had a customer get a cheap cutter then broke a part. 4 week wait coming from China back in the good days.

there is a difference between creasing and scoring. Duplo machines have a creaser blade and the modules if equipped have a score blade. The score is nowhere as good as the crease and I tell my customers that. Try creasing on the other side of the sheet. Sometimes it makes a difference.

I think its the same with all those machines on how to access the maintenance mode.

What do you need to know? People who are not trained that get their hands on a service manual usually screw something up bad.

Sheets need to be cut at different sizes before you pad. Had a paper company do them for their swatch books way back when.

Are you sure it's the motor? Never replaced one before. Most of those motors have gear reduction boxes attached to them. Maybe its in the gear box.

did the screen come back filled in? If not you might have to tell it what it is. I have that info if needed

646 has the new black rollers out. Not 100% smooth but a bit tacky. Hopefully last longer than the gray ones.

I think 645 rollers are not available anymore. They had a plastic coating that would tear so they replaced on the 646 with the sponge rubber gray ones.

think of it this way. the whole sheet is getting transported as 1 unit. when the last few rows are slit you now have 3? separate rows trying to move together towards the cutter. sometimes one or more of those separated rows lag behind causing bad cards. if you have the soft gray rollers maybe...

How many sheets are thru your machine? Im guessing rollers are worn as Ive seen before. Is it the whole sheet or just the last few cards?

Cant find that error anywhere. are you sure clamp/knife up and down sensors are ok. Lights flicker on and off? Does the backgage move under power? If not maybe a baby fuse on the board for BG motor control. Or if the clamp is not on its up sensor it will not move either. S/N of machine??

No. Its just the 4 feed belts. They tend to slip if they get worn. Ive seen many machiines into the millions with no service. Its like your car and the dealership. Come on it for the 12K check up.

Can you cheat and fudge the numbers? You technically have to take something from one of the sides of the cards and add it to the card whether it's the gutter side or the end. I'm not sure what's in the service mode
