For all the Duplo air feed machines those feed belts stretch and underneath the belts that little tab wears out causing doubles to feed. Those little items cause lots of headaches.

The results will probably be good however you will do in my opinion excessive wear and tear on the blades and the knife which it get costly when you need to replace them.

you mean the green rubber belts? they usually get replaced in pairs. what type of duplo?

i work on the Duplo's and don't recommend any type of mylar or lamination as it messes with the blades.

Try Alliance Knife in Ohio. Just remember a cheap blade will make you sharpen it more often. A inlaid blade will last you a while.

From my view I think the glue strip in the middle is too wide and the tiny advancement fingers slide on the glue rather than dig into the staple groove. Duplo had this issue years ago it was fixed like night and day now its back. Yes the 120 is discontinued so getting parts might be a pain. So...

Not sure if you fix it yet BUT if it has a wire tube in which the wire flows down thru replace the lower tube. It looks like a L. It wears out inside and will screw up the feeding. Also oil your wire every once in a while.

See if the belt doubled up on another. Have seen it before. Good luck on the software. Its a good but old machine. The parts that wear out and the ones not available by Duplo. The 646 is so much quicker and Ive heard the 648 is even more impressive!!!

Are you talking the two bolt looking things? They are special safety bolts and are easy to replace. They hold the two arms together. There is a rod with a point on it that is there basically for alignment.

See page 29 in your book. When the cards are printed at the end of the sheets the last row gets eaten up. Try lying about the length of the sheet. 18" go 18.25 or 18.50. Too much will give you a paper jam error. You might get away with this. Almost like a built in flaw??
