    Envelope Printer Experiences

Everything is user replaceable as far as maintenance, it's just a wiping sled. Nozzles do not dry out, at the end of the day we just turn off the monitors and walk away. It sat the holiday weekend, on Monday we just turned on the monitors and fired away. It will do a cleaning on its own.

    Considering a GW 8336 SCC

Having the GW PTSCC I would look at a Standard first. After 6 years of light use you will have registration issues. Spend the extra and get the better, faster Standard. The perforation on the GW is useless and we don't EVER use it. It perfs on the edges but not the center due to the perf bar...

    Envelope Printer Experiences

Strongly recommend iJet Color Pro 1175P with the HP heads. I have the ENpress as well just for wedding invitations. The iJet will run laps around the Xante. Installed in July and have 623,000 on it so far.

    Inkjet Envelope Press

Are you referring to Kirk-Rudy? If so not even the same machine, KR uses Memjet heads the 1175P use HP heads. By the looks the software is the same. I'm guessing the KR is quite a bit more expensive.

Konica c4080 vs RICOH 7200 series vs Canon IP C100100p

Why wouldn't you be comparing the Canon IP C100100p to the Ricoh C9210? Your comparing the flagship Canon to the runner-up Ricoh. We are replacing a Xerox V180 and a ColorPress 1000i with a Ricoh 7200 and 9210. We need the 5th color of the 7200, but our volume requires a 9210 for the CMYK work...

    Inkjet Envelope Press

We installed an iJet Color Pro 1175P with the HP head. Installed in August this year with about 550,000 on it so far. Runs like a champ, has no feeding issues like toner once you figure out how to operate it. We run everything from 4 bar to 10x13 and have several setups a day. Super easy to...

    Anyone running into CMS compliance?

I received a letter from one of the hospitals we do printing for. They state as a vendor we may fall under CMS compliance for vaccine mandates. I feel that is incorrect as we would fall under OSHA if anything and they have suspended their ETS. We do have one hospital with desktop delivery, but...

Toner / colordrum issue xerox versant

Hey Brett - Based on what you have said above I was digging through my 180 toner. I have date codes the read W2 9051 and W5 172. Either Xerox completely changed something or we got some Back To The Future stuff going on.

    Dyna-Cut Rotary Die Cutter

Try curling the front edge the opposite direction. If you are running rolls how are you getting the registration from sheet to sheet? You may be better off with a Graphtec fc9000. To be honest our experience with the beta testing lead me to believe they still had more work to do in the delivery...

    Dyna-Cut Rotary Die Cutter

We did the beta testing on this machine. Does the die have foam in it to help push out the label from the die? If not I would start with that.
