This is how we get the ultra thick cards. 2 16pt cards together and you have a 32pt card. Not many of our customers want that but there are a few and this works really well. When glued and trimmed you would not know they 2 pieces stuck together.

You can also rotate the play and grip from the other end even if the one end is punched. I have done that a few times if a corner gets kinked while trying to load.

As DYP said you might be able to get somewhere close to what you are after but it will probably be at a price of improper fusing. I find the Versant already looks pretty matte especially compared to the J75 which had a much shinier toner.

In most cases you should be able to edit the text in Acrobat Pro. If you outline the text it will not be editable with any software as it is no longer a font. You could outline and open in illustrator but the only changes you could make are the colour and the size.

You can print a full sheet with bleed on the Ricoh Pro C7210x? That is something I would definitely want in a printer. We can do that on our Epson 9900 and it is a huge time saver for some jobs. Had not heard of this feature being around for any digital press.
