Why are you using Poly plates to begin with? Do you realize that they are not going to make them in the near future? That they are more expensive than metal?

If you turn off the delta dampening the picture framing and plate ware will disappear. If that doesn't do it then you must not have the same plate to blanket pressure as the Heidi.

Just ask your supplier! Or, price out metal to see if its cheaper, then it wont matter to you whether or not they will be making these plates in the future. Unless you don't have the resources to image metal plates. If you do why would you want to run poly over metal?

Forget about poly plates and go back to metal! What your supplier is not telling you or doesn't realize is that poly plates will no longer be available in the very near future. Do a price comparison and you will find that poly plates are NO LONGER CHEAPER than running metal!!! I didn't believe...

Our G7 curves are entered into characterization curve data, but they don't seem to be getting on the plates???? I'm not a prepress guy so I'm a little confused as pre press tells me that the curves are automatically applied. We just switched over from Rampage to XMF and ever since then we don't...

You should have a look at your pricing for Poly Plates. I think you will find that they are more expensive than metal. I was surprised when I discovered this, but its absolutely true in our case.

Just looking for opinions on these as we are considering our upgrading our indigo or adding the DI. UV. Price wise they are close and the UV. would help open new markets to our company. As for the Indigo, it has been a great machine but not sure how well it would dry on plastics or matte stock...

Has anyone that runs a SM 102 experienced register movement on these machines? The movement is mostly horizontally and diagonally. The press is a 2008 and we have had it since new.
