    Used Duplo 645

I just took a look at the slitters. It appears that it is possible to adjust the metal plate that interrupts the homing sensor signal.

Tariffs - Have they, or, will they impact your business?

We may not see increase in prices. We may see decreases. Trump’s plan has always been to just get everyone to drop their tariffs against us, to get to a true free trade situation with no subsidy of others by America. Vietnam, India, Israel have all dropped their tariffs against us and possible...

Question about EFI ES-3000 and Color Profile Suite license

It is not Xerox that requires a new support agreement, it is Fiery. The ES3000 acts like a dongle and has a license and should enable the version of Color Profile Suite that came with it. You just won't be able to upgrade to new version of CPS without a current Software Maintenance & Support...

    Used Duplo 645

Not sure I am following you. I have a 645 and it only has one knife. It does have 6 slitters. Is that what you are talking about. I have not had to manually go in and adjust any of the slitters sensor breaks but I have done that in the perforator module. The metal piece that breaks the sensor...

    Versant 2nd BTR Metal Roller

The Iridesse uses a BTB. If you watch for to much inboard or outboard movement and make adjustments so it doesn't tear it will last beyond it usage limit. The belt does tend have a 1/4" start to tear on the inboard side which I found if I trim it off the belt will practically last forever, most...

Versant 280 Alignment Range, specifically skew

Call 2nd level support. There are NVM setting for lead to trail edge alignment. And these are based on range of paper weights. I bet your machine has a from factory print out that will tell you the paper weight range and factory setting. They usually put those papers in the pocket in the front...

    Xerox 1000i help

I have the Iridesse but I would assume the 1000i would be the same. Just pull out the 2nd BTB and below the alignment rollers towards the outboard side of the machine, you will see a sensor there that had a cam that passes through it. There is also a cam sensor on the top alignment roller on the...

Xerox Versant 180 SIQA Density Uniformity Adjustment error

Somewhere you should have a reset to factory default for Uniform Density. If print density is too high then the SIQA Density Uniformity Adjustment tool might throw an error that is why it should be reset back to factory default before running the SIQA Density Uniformity Adjustment tool.

Looks like a fuzzy or something under your print head carriage. Have you tried cleaning the bottom of the carriage?

What settings are you using for Color Input in Fiery?

That is why I suggested updating the values for that spot color in for the output profile with Spot Pro. For what ever reason Fiery stores the spot library output values in the output profile. I always thought that was a bit strange because I have never seen any wide format RIP do that. Don't...

What settings are you using for Color Input in Fiery?

Look in Imageviewer to see what you output values are for that spot color, then you know what values to put in Spot Pro for your output profile in case you wanted to assign a CMYK source profile for managing other elements in the print job. But the CMYK source profile should not be affecting...
