    Adobe's new T&C's causing concern

But then this is the company that forces you to accept that you don't own a copy of any software they sell. You are only purchasing the rights to 'use' the functions of the software as it currently exists for as long as 'terms apply'.

    Adobe's new T&C's causing concern

Only because they have been using any and all images in their grasp to train LLM's. And this will indemnify them from future usage and they'll be prepared to fight any current lawsuits. Think teams of lawyers. Past being prologue - just explain to me how I'm wrong.

Pattern Glue - Vendor or Equipment Recommendation

Right now my previous employer is defunct, by choice. The owner 'aged out'. I will gladly connect you to the customer in the North East US. Please contact me directly if you wish. I have no material interest in the outcome. Just a professional courtesy.

    Noob question on booklet bleeds

Normal layout from a good customer is "reader spreads" in two pages with bleed on the outside of the spreads. If this is done correctly all is well for output. If you require PDF output they then output single pages with standard bleed and this finishes the process nicely. Any other layout...

    PDF Spread Automation

Have you looked here? https://www.qoppa.com/pdfautomation/ Sometimes a different tool is what you need. Not affiliated. YMMV.

    HP and Canva Announce Partnership

And let's not forget that Adobe has a mature product set. Very difficult to provide 'new' features and users don't see the need for a new product all the time. And what they HAVE done re:fonts can make life MORE difficult and costly for existing customers. Just my 2¢ critique.

    HP and Canva Announce Partnership

Yes. The discussion was Canva competing in the online design space. Maybe I'm not familiar enough with everything CANVA. Name all the Adobe products. Name their competitors?

Hahahahaha Since when?? 2010? Canva is just barely competing in 1 arena.

Does your Ricoh machine handle tabs well?

That won't/shouldn't matter for sets run independently which the poster says is happening also. :) YMMV

Does your Ricoh machine handle tabs well?

If I didn't know better I would think that the machine/software companies got hit with a patent offense and decided to remove the feature, quietly, to figure out the next best steps. Worked before, doesn't now. YMMV :)

Surcolor P20000 getting stalled out over network

Isolate first. The suspect VLAN is different somehow. Firmware maybe. Router settings maybe. Never rule out a user doing something stupid ON the VLAN. 'But I was just playing my game at break . . . '

    Pantone in the future

And Canva added Affinity Serif to their products. Adobe has got to be really worried. A little more marketing effort by an open source color system replacement will probably take the shine off for Pantone. Pantone can copyright the 'number system' but not the reflected light value. If I was...

What settings are you using for Color Input in Fiery?

Lot going on here. Sources? Per your 'best' workflow results. (I expect pushback on this) Embedded profiles? Not usually. Intents? Per your 'best' workflow results. (I expect pushback on this) We saw minor differences w/sources-intents between machines. Choose the best and stick to it for that...

ABDICK 9985/Ryobi 3302 crazy blanket scum

3302's and all variants are known to be very sensitive to roller diameter. You will NOT be able to achieve good stripes or pressures when the rollers shrink below specification which happens every couple of years. So buy a couple of sets of rollers if you haven't. Not cheap but probably...
