The SID images you showed from top to bottom represent gloss coated paper, matte/dull coated paper and plain uncoated offset paper. Inkjet proofs are not made on actual production paper, they need special paper, but should simulate the color and gloss finish of the actual production paper...

I understand what you mean when you say "MatchPrint" but that product/term is obsolete. What ICC profile did you send them? Lowering the press ink (Solid Ink Density, SID) on uncoated paper will make the image look lighter but also much flatter/duller/less contrast. Get the results in you want...

A good feeder operator!

You need a method (manual or electronic) to record plate usage data. Such as age (when made), number of printings, impression count, press operator note on performance. It may be better to change the entire set than just a single plate.

Fan and wind jog NCR paper (No Carbon Required) before loading into feeder. Are sheets sticking together in feeder from static charge, from too low RH in cold weather? Lower pile height, lower air blast, lower vacuum suction.

Also consider how density measurements are being made. 4/c press may have an off-line scanner (with black backer). 2/c press may just be only handheld densitometer (with white or self-backer). Make sure K density measures the same on both presses, with different instruments.
