we had this discussion at work last week. I think we are seeing the end of offset printing in the next 10-20 years. All depends on how the new digital press gets to the same speed as the offset press.

Feathered is in done in indesign when it output the pdf it rasterized it

Only thing I can see is that the feather effect was dropped for some reason when exported to the PDF. Indesign seems to rasterize the feather effect when exporting to pdf. I think that is the issue somehow. The effect did not stay when it was turned to raster. I cant say why though

we have in the past and are right now. Looking at MIS and workflows.
