I had the same issue when our I.T. guy tinkered with some server settings and somewhere along the way the press and the Fiery stopped chatting (exact same message tho) He had to go back in to the Fiery and re-point to the Ricoh somehow....sorry I don't Speak I.T. Speech so I am not quite sure...

See what your click charge is VS farming it out to a Trade Printer..... Just guessing it would cost less to farm it to either a web or offset joint

We have had that issue before with UV off of our KM Machines. I do know that each manufacturer has different coatings for different toner adhesion....at least that is what we were told. I know that we used to have really bad "chipping" issues in the past but we haven't tried any coatings since...

Yah, we have had our 9100 for about 6 months and I think the techs have replaced the cables at least once in all of the drawers so far, maybe twice in a couple. It does print Classic Columns almost better than our offset does. It truly does an amazing job on heavy textures

Interesting.... I know a few years back that we would have to "burn off" some of the toner before we could UV the sheets. Might be worth a try

I have had ZERO luck running #10's on our 9100. Ricoh says it will ... but our sales rep told us beforehand that it was very difficult. I know there are people out there doing it but I haven't been able to figure it out yet
