The inline solution with script, just like explained before. But the conversion needs to be done somehow. Or are there any workflows that can use quark files??

With PDF import plugin illustrator can handle PDF files very good actually. So I see no problem using AI for editing the trapping created by AE. But the best software however to handle normalised PDFs are Packedge. I wouldn't recommend Neo or pitstop.

This of course depends on the amount of labels you have to process. I'm afraid so.. DFS is a compleat solution... The only workaround I can think of is with Artois Cad. But I'm still doubting that this would be a good solution. Does their table have a camera or laser pointer? And is it really good enough to cut photopolymer plates?

May I ask why they want to convert the acm file to another format? I can't really understand why someone would like to use the cut file from DFS. Or do they use DFS but not Konsgsberg?
