    STRIKE THROUGH VARNISHING

Here is their web site. We get the product from our local supplier. Kustom Group Remember, you have to use both the KS-900 and KB-3074 together for the process to work. Your ink supplier should be able to help you with this. Good luck!

How do I convert film to digital?

Have you tried scanning the film only, then create a multi channel photoshop document to piece them back together. You can then spec what each channel color will be for the films scanned. Just an idea. Give it a shot!

How do you make a 2nd hit in RAMpage?

I'll apologize ahead of time. It's been almost 4 years since I've used Rampage but I'll try it anyway. I remember changing the ink values (Neutral Density I believe) of the bump plate to be lighter (lower in number) than the plate you want to be full strength. It should also be called by a...

    Pre Press vs. Press salaries

15 years ago I would not have argued about press operators making more money but with today's technology, presses almost run themselves. (could you tell I'm a pre-press guy?) Pre-press ops have at least a dozen programs they have to KNOW in order to do the job. Then add in print options (W/T...

Memory leak or font problem in Acrobat 9

Do you have a PDF workflow? (Apogee, Print Ready, Rampage) If so, why are you putting this file in InDesign to create another PDF? Is it because it's ripping wrong or what? Have you tried opening the file in Illustrator? At that point, you could convert to outlines and be done with it. Hope...

    add bleed or undercut

We will try and add bleed if possible. A lot of PDF's provided don't have it. So, if we can, we'll scale 101%. If not, we'll undercut. Most of our digital runs are not that big so we can usually get away with it.
