    Nexus Proofer Workflow with OPI

Ok, using your info, I swear I've gone through every possible combination for mapping the address. I only get black boxes. Then, it spits out 2 files, one with the (nexus number)opi.pdf. Can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thank you for your help, though. This forum is great.

    Nexus Proofer Workflow with OPI

@CHM Why OPI? To keep traffic and filesize down. We've been getting some horrendously large files. Hell on the network, and no real reason to process it any more than we have to. @pcmodem: Thank you for that. I'm mapping to our output folder, where all of the PDFs get generated, not to the...

    Nexus Proofer Workflow with OPI

Hey guys and gal. I need some help creating a Workflow in Nexus 9.5.6 for proofing. I need PDF in, OPI, composite PDF out to an EFI XF RIP. I'm having a hard time getting the OPI to work. Does anyone have a similar workflow I can emulate? Thanks much!

    Kodak ICC profiles

Hey Louis, either goal would be good. If I can modify an ICC profile to match, I'd be happy, or getting that ICC Kodak ICC to work would be fine. We don't run really exact color, but tight enough that the only profile I've got built just won't do. And yeah, I do have access to the old profile on...

    Kodak ICC profiles

Hey guys. We've been using Nexus 8.4 for a while now, and we're proofing to Epson 7600 printers. At one point, Artworks had a partnership with Kodak apparently, and we got a Kodak ICC profile that runs through Kodak CFM software. We just upgraded to Nexus 9 with a PDF workflow, and they no...

    Missing Glyphs in Indesign

Ok, I found the issue. Thanks for everyone's help. Someone had dumped the font into the InDesign font folder. I forgot that I ever showed anyone that, so I didn't think to look. But, I am demo-ing Font Explorer.

    Missing Glyphs in Indesign

Ok, thanks guys for the suggestions, they're forcing me to double check stuff which is great. The native doc is in CS3 and I'm opening it in CS4. But this has gone on for a while, so it could have been affected by the CS2-CS3 bug before. I think I might have caught a font problem while I was...

    Missing Glyphs in Indesign

I did check the ligatures were turned off, just in case, but in these cases it is true glyphs. Hopefully the images work. Here's what it looked like when I opened it up: and after I fixed the o: Does that make it a bit clearer? I feel like I'm missing something glaring, because search...

    Missing Glyphs in Indesign

Hey guys, I've been coming here for help for a while, but I have a question I can't find. When customers send us their native InDesign files, with fonts even (astonishing, I know), we almost always lose any glyphs they use when we open their file. They don't really drop out, either. They get...
