    Cut off

    In some presses the cut off is 21.5" which is 546.10 mm and in some it's 546 mm. Is the difference only theoretical or is there a difference of 0.01mm practically.

    Ink catch up on Slip roller

    Press : Harris M1000B heatset press with 8 print units There is ink catch up on slip rollers resulting in ink transfer problems and needs to be cleared regularly. The start up waste is also high. Have tried several inks and fountain solutions. Request advise on over coming it.

    While printing very heavy images in high speed heatset web press, on supercalendered and light weight coated paper, there is improper stacking or stacking is very bad, This improves drastically while printing the next signature which has moderate images.
