    Size of a QR Code

smart phones have gotten better in the last 6-12 months but remember to tell your customer its best to work around worst case scenario. You don't want to give a customer something they can't scan or they give to a customer that cant scan it. Using the latest and greatest phone isn't the best...

    postcard & doorhanger machine - 100lb cover

    12 x 18 versus 13 x 19 12 x 18 versus 13 x 19 We run 12 x 18 because its cheaper and doesn't affect our impositions. We can fit 4 8.5 x 5.5 full bleed postcard on a 12 x 18 and thats the vast majority of what we print. For our smaller postcards we will run some 13 x 19. It really just depends...

    Konica UV Coating

we use the actega uv-9058DG & have no problems. We do have to slow down slightly from full speed and turn the IR on. We used to use the 9021DG with our xerox machines but that solution picked extremely easily with the canon toner.

    indigo good progression from digital?

6060's 6060's We are a shop that is moving away from our 6060's in Texas. We outgrew them and moved into newer machines. 240's and even the newer Xerox 700's dont handle the paper weight or larger sheet sizes that the 6060's can. Even the newer Xerox ( 8000's and 7000's) have their problems...

replacement printer replacement printer Ahhhh......... it feels good. We will see how much better our new like-for-like printer really is but it can't be worse than the machine we have had. It only took us a year to get this one replaced and about 8 months of that as actual down time but now...

Has Anyone Sued Their Digital Press Manufacturer for Downtime?

Has Anyone Sued Their Digital Press Manufacturer for Downtime?

The funny thing about our current situation is even Xerox admits that those who help the customer the least are the ones who get promoted. Our previous Field Manager who manages all of our service tech's was horrible and they all knew it. We now have a new manager because she was promoted within...

    UV Coating equipment

I was wondering if I would find Graphic Whizard in this thread. I will have to admit that I wasnt expecting to see James posting here. We are hoping to get a chance to run some samples on the new Graphic Whizard UV coaters and possibly purchase one of the creasers to feed it which would be a...
