Replacing our Xerox 252 with the 700

The 252 documentation states it's designed to operate optimally with an average volume between 15k-50k. The 700i documentation states it is designed to operate between 20k-75k.

    Digital Copier/Press Facts v Fiction

If I were making the call it would by between the 550 and the 65hc. Toshiba is going to die after a yr, the C652 is an office machine, and 5501 is ancient in the market with consistency issues. They'll all let you do trials. Pick one of the KM's and the Xerox and let them run side by side for...

Buying Xerox 550 - fiery or no fiery?

If you're a print shop looking at a 550 buy the fiery. Otherwise you might as well save some more money and buy an office device. If a $130 per month is a lot you could probably save even more than that by stepping down another level. The way the device processes data does have a big impact...

Xerox ColorQube 9201/9202/9203 Fax Address book

There is a utility for the 9200's which can be downloaded from Xerox's product support page. Enter 1 or 2 fax numbers directly at the 9200 GUI so that there's the proper format in the system. Connect the laptop to the 9200 export the list through the utility then add your additional fax...

    Xerox vs. Km

A c652 wouldn't typically be compared to a 550 with a fiery - two different types of product. You may want to ask konica for a professional color device or perhaps ask Xerox for an office product which would compare to the c652 - something like a Xerox WC7556. The 550 has tight registration...

    Digital Decision

I'm sure you're having some type of professional color calibration tools included in all these models. It is essential that you have something like an es1000 spectrophotometer (in the case of a fiery) included with your device. Most reps likely have no idea how to use one with a device...

    Digital Decision

Based on your longterm need expectations the 700 is definitely the choice of the Xerox units. Thats based on media type and volume. You may also want to look into a Xerox 5000 - I understand this unit may be heavily discounted for year end.
