I would err on the side of sophisticated. If it's too basic it wont grow with out needs or wont be able create profiles that are specific enough. We do create a lot of B&W imagery that has to run as four color along side full color images. GCR tweakability would be a plus.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have the same issue only backwards. I was wondering was is the best method to convert Gracol to Swop or Vice versa since indesign does seem to suck. Any Suggestions?
