Does anyone have tips for direct UV printing to plexi. As is, I turn my lights down low to keep the plexi from bowing. This of course brings the adhesion factor low and tend to get chipping from the edges. Any tips would be helpful. Thank you!

Hello, any suggestions on cleaning substrates is greatly appreciated. I can rub styrene or ultraboard with lint free cloth and denatured alcohol and still get swipe marks that are visible after printing. I can spend 10min cleaning a board and it is hit or miss. The wipe marks are not visible...

One last adjustment for vertical banding is vacuum adjustment. We get some ink scratching on backlit material, but we hang our prints for awhile before any finish work is done to them. The color shift is no good, haven't run into that on a single job.

We combat vertical banding with airflow and heater adjustments, and a lot of times it is bad media. We send back media and record batch numbers of what we load. Color shift is not a problem, we relinerize every Monday. L2600 and L2800 are what were running in latex.

We are running HP 60" and 104".

As I understand it, heads are not covered under warranty. I can't figure out how to prove that a couple of heads are faulty. Agfra has sent their top set-up guy in the states and their top profiler, but never made any mention of a possible head problem, like it isn't even a posibility because...

Every day nozzle check pattern is perfect. Machine is 6 months old and I haven't lost a nozzle yet. All registration tests are right on. I think it may be a faulty head that has a possible board issue when interpreting data, with no way to test this without actually purchasing a new head and...

I think it's a head, but all step, and alignments are right on and been gone over by Agfa techs.

Anyone have an Anapurna M2540 with banding issues. The machine has been checked for mechanics top to bottom. I have profiles ranging from very low ink to high ink restrictions. I get a very distinctive banding pattern when my CMYK values are above 70% in the info out of Onyx RIP.
