I do. I'm kicking DOP plates out of a Cron 36h right now. I really can't speak to better alternatives. I've really only ran into minor issues with this machine (knock on wood) been running it over 2 years now.
I couldn't agree with this more. We have two memjet printers (label and envelope) and I cannot stand both of them. Same problems described by gazfocus. Ink and printheads are crazy expensive and not worth the problems that seems to be common from what I've read.
May not be the most genius idea, but I save the boxes that the plates come in. Put each job in one of those and bring them out. We use DOP (Develop on Press) plates, so the boxes help with keeping them out of the light until the press is ready for them.
