Xerox Versant 80 Image problem, faded edges?

It could be the ROS windows need cleaning with the wand. Or you might need the IBT belt changing or cleaning. Could be something blocking it or toner build up.

    Versant 280 paper creasing

Engineer came out, changed fuser still getting it, swapped decurler rollers and still the same. Then changed pressure roller and disappeared.

    Versant 280 paper creasing

Does anyone else ever get this type of creasing marks on their versant 280 when printing on 130gsm-170gsm silk SRA3 paper (see photos) only affects bottom right corner. I have the fuser temperature set low. Prior to printing the paper doesn’t have any crease marks and I have tried two different...

Interesting, I shall have to give it a go

    NCR combination

It’s either the middle or bottom sheet could be manufactured wrong. Or if you are printing double sided, one thing to note is that it prints the back side first and then the front after. So I turn the NCR upside down (if printing from tray5,6,7)

    Versant 280 Business Cards

So I have started to get into doing business cards ourselves now on my Versant 280. Does anyone else have registration issues when doing business cards on 400gsm silk? I know that 400gsm is at the limit of the printer stock. I can seem to do one side fine, but when doing the reverse it always...

    NCR Job Time Versant 280

I don't buy in pre-collated sheets, because I've never liked the idea if you get a jam. Plus as we do a lot of ncr pads, using various coloured sheets, it's cheaper for us to buy in SRA3, compared to pre-collated (especially here in the UK).

Ricoh c7500 after 8 years of using a xerox versant 2100

It would be interesting to see samples, especially of solid colours like you said with no banding

    NCR Job Time Versant 280

So I've got a 3 part ncr that is black & white, double sided and is numbered. I get 2 up on a sheet as it's A4 on SRA3 sheet. I'm pulling from tray 5 for white top sheet, tray 6 yellow middle sheet and tray 7 pink bottom sheet. So there would be 1,875 sheets per each coloured sheet. Totalling...

    Xerox C60 White Line

Yes it turned out to be the ROS window covered in toner dust. At least I now know how to strip the machine apart.

Versant 280 Dent on IBT belt

Has anyone else ever had a dent appear on there IBT belt? Not sure what would have caused that. Currently awaiting for an engineer to come out to replace. It was interesting to see how the toner gets put onto the belt. I see that it puts down 3 solids strips of colour in-between each job. No...

    Xerox C60 White Line

I am currently getting a white solid line going across my prints. I did a CMYK test to see if it's a drum. Well it only appears on Cyan, so I swapped the Cyan drum around with the Magenta Drum. Still getting the same white line in the same place, so surely can't be a drum issue, as it should...

Xerox Versant 180 wrinkles in paper

I had this same issue on my Versant 280. Sometimes it can be the pressure roller, but on this occasion it was the fuser.

    Xerox fault code 026-401

Does anyone else experience the following Fault code 026-401 on their Xerox Versant 280? I seem to get it now and again, its to do with alignment threshold going out.

    Xerox 2nd BTR

I did speak to my sales rep and he did tell me that apparently the 2nd BTR's are being manufactured in Ireland and they have opened up another factory to cope with demand. So perhaps that might be why you can get them quite quick. I have tried to place another on order as a spare.

    Xerox 2nd BTR

I fully agree, does make you think what is Xerox actually trying to do? I mean it must be costing them a fortune in producing and shipping the 2nd BTR parts
