I think I found the problem. output Y0 from the PLC controls the contactor. It seems to be stuck on, and outputting 204 VAC even with the PLC off. the Y0 light is off, which tells me the logic is ok. it seems like it could be a stuck relay within the PLC. Does anyone know if these can either be...

Update! I just checked the lamp sockets and what do you know, one was shorted. Now the machine operates microcut is fine, etc, but the pump is on 100% of the time.

Interesting on the manual... mine is probably a generation older. I suspect the transformer which looks like an off-the-shelf unit, an Impervitran B100MBT173XK. I'm noticing a little "magic smoke" scent from it and see a bit of paint deformation. Photo of suspected toast attached.
