Acrobat 9 - Printing question

A few months back I inquired about being able to take a 1.7 PDF straight to a Konica without going through postscript.
I "beleive" I was told by Dov Isaacs (?) that A9 would be able to do this.
I now have A9 installed.
Could I get a quick primer on how to do this?
Thanks

I believe you can only do it if your Konica is APPE certified.

Hi Kaiserwilhelm,

what is your expectation (workflow wise)

1. -- you have your PDF open in Acrobat 9 (what version - Reader, Pro ?) - you select "Print"
2. -- you have some PDF file in a folder - you drag into some 'hot folder' that is watched by the Konika
3. -- like several other printer vendors (for example, Xerox) they support LPR (where you have some small application send the PDF file to a queue

I guess I am missing as to what Acrobat 9 brought to this - or why you could not "send" PDF files to the Konika before Acrobat 9...

or, maybe i simply am not 'getting' what your expectation "is" - walk me thru what you wanna do my friend !
