Acrobat Distiller 7

Hi, long time listener, first time caller!

I have a quick question that I'm not able to find an answer anywhere else.
Acrobat Pro 7 - We are at version 7.1 (Mac).
Distiller, of course is also at 7.1, BUT...
When you distill .ps and create a pdf, in the properties window, it says the version that created it is Acrobat Distiller Version 7.0.5.
Any particular reason?

There is no newer version of Distiller than 7.0.5 in the Acrobat 7 line. Acrobat has been updated to 7.10, but not Distiller.

However, given that the current version of Distiller is 9.0 - how about an upgrade?
