Canon iPF825

Hi all,

I need a wide format machine for plans & blueprints and am considering the iPF825 with built in scanner.

I'd also like to start printing general signs and banners for local retail businesses (including ours).

Would the IPF be enough to get me started or will I need to consider a 6 or 8 color unit for indoor signs?

Thanks,
Joe

I learned that the ink is pigment/dye based so it will fade..

But I have another question about printing blueprints & plans. Is the ability to print on both 24" and 36" paper important? The 825 hold two rolls while the 765 only holds one.

Do most just print on 36"? Would it be nice to have the ability to choose between 24" & 36" without swapping rolls?
