Hi,
We are a bit new to die cutting synthetic materials (PVC). We use the same conditions for paper cutting (creasing matrix, knives, cold process) and the process goes fine except that every 10-12 sheet, the knives fail to cut the material. First, we checked the material for consistency and all sheets were consistent. Then a guy from the lab suspected that the electrostatic charge can weaken the cutting force of the knife. What do you think?
We use Bobst Speria 106 2007 model.
Thank you
