Hi All, New to the forum so firstly id like to say G'day mate :D

What i have noticed upon browsing the forums is that there seems to be a few people having issues with oil streaks on this machine. W have a 5000ap with a creo rip machine version 1.0 with the following

SP2
Feb 2008 profile mgr fix
vipp job shifted
enablement patch for 5000/5000ap

I would also like to know what other common issues people have and their workarounds for them, and what sort of stocks people are using/ maintenance procedures etc.

Things that i have found to be helpful are:
Daily clean all the feeder rollers/cleaning brush
"pre oil" the fuser before each days work (involving placing a small row of oil on the fuser cleaner rolller (i think thats it, red and black ones, and then giving the fuser a few rotations)

We also get alot of 10-311/10-388 error codes (fuser temp) which we originally had to get a xerox tech to come and clear. shutting the machine down, opening the drawer and then turning back on, wait for machine to be on, then close the drawer should clear.

Paper curling in the stacker tray, lightweights (<150gsm) there is a fan switch, turn it off for lighter ones (flick it on for heavy ones though or you will brick)

stocks we use are mostly SRA3 and come from the following range

IMPRESS
JAC_VELIUM
SPLENDORGEL DIGITAL
MONZA
PACESETTER LASER (Bond only, recommend against pacesetter coated in this machine)
COLORTECH
