EFI Colorproof XF running on EPSON 9880s-9900s

Hi,

We've been using EFI Validation on our EPSON using EFI RIP. Recently, we have decided to try running other materials through the EFI Rip for GRACoL/SWOP proofs (eg. EPSON paper). Has anyone tried this? I don't see any potential problems that I know of. Is there anything else I should be concern with?

Epson paper works fine with XF.

BUT, there are things to look at:

1. Epson has NO media that is GRACoL/SWOP certified with EFI XF
2. Chromaticity provides XF tech support to users of Validation media
3. GRACoL (SWOP 1) is different than SWOP 3
4. Both papers are priced the same
5. ICC profiles can be downlaoded from Chromaticiy's web site
6. Epson offers zero value for support
