Exhorbitant Esko Field Engineer Rates

We have three Kongsberg cutting machines at our factory in Thailand. We have just been quoted 18,000 THB (450 Euros) for a locally based Esko engineer to visit to diagnose a fault on one of our machines. I'm not at all happy about this fee in a country where the minimum daily wage is 9.50 Euros. What are Esko charging in other parts of the world? Their engineer in Vietnam tried to diagnose the problem remotely but was unsuccessful. So I guess we will have to pay twice: one trip to diagnose and another to fix the problem.
