Reminds me of when I stripped negs at a small shop that mostly did one or two color printing. We tried four color once and the owner ragged on me for using the registration marks to line up the negs. He said the marks were just for the pressmen, and didn't I know how to line them up looking at the dots? Well, if the marks weren't lined up on the negs, how could the pressmen use them to line up with? Good thing we never tried four color again.
