Heidelburg Follow up control

cpc as in cpc 24 image control? or axis control?

Press condition, image control calibration, the CIP data from prepress and ink key/dampening settings can make the follow ups take longer than they should. We see a change within 100 sheets max.

Over modulation or "color boost" should only be used during the m/r.

I read sheet on cpc2 and it transfers info to cpc1. This is an older model 40"cd press. maybe 1998. I only use color boost in mr. But it still hardly moves. I run 150 sheets at a time in mr. Color should be close to standards within two pulls but it takes atleast 5.

Isn't there a function for changing the followup profiles by a percentage? Maybe I'm misremembering. But if one color is consistently light or heavy from followups, that would be one way to move it closer.

I'm working in a plant now with '94 and older CD machines and they don't have the CPC2 sheet scanner and many times I don't even have color bars to measure. It's been a bit of a challenge to go back to old school printing and doing color almost entirely by eye.

Yes there is but I am not sure where it is. Yes I have gone back in time a bit also with my new job. It is frustrating at times. If I can get this fixed my world would be a better place.
