You deleted the Flashrom program or damaged the removable chip on the bridge PCB. Try to re-program it, it will 99.99% fails, but try it anyway! You have to take the Flash out, get the program from another bridge flashrom, and program the first one.You need a Programmer Device. Usually you can find a local shop to do this for you. In case of any damage to the Flashrom Chip, you will need to buy a new chip and program it. Perhaps, you may like to reprogram it with Unidiag. At least the programming error will be limited.

The easiest way is to buy a bridge PCB. I have Plenty of Avantra 30 Parts, but not the bridge.

It is very risky to download the firmwares on Flash. You have to know what you are doing, otherwise you will damage the down loader on the chip and the hand shake between the chip and the DEC board will be broken. The beauty of the Agfa Systems is the Capability of Tech to save the PCB for any kinds of firmware problems. This capability, is hardly found on many CTPs or Image setters. In case of the corrupted datas, you have to buy another Pcbs on other systems. in other hand, if you do not know what you are doing, you will damage the PCBs.

If you had a speed problem in first place, you wouldn't be needing to download the Firmware. The Speed can be abjected on DEC Pcb and not the Bridge Pcb.
