What are the very best accuracy and repeatability specs you have ever seen for an inkjet machine that can make film positives? Real-world tests?
I need film positives that are +-.002" to true size, and repeatable, over approx 30"x41.5" area.
In past years, the ability of even the best inkjet mechanics could not even approach the accuracy we need. But, I haven't investigated in a few years. Has anyone seen or carefully tested the current or recent crops of highest-end inkjet machines? How about the ones specifically marketed for engineering/architecture: would the needs of those markets require a high accuracy inkjet?
With thanks,
Duane
