OS 10.5.4 on PPC G5
2.5 gb RAM
Native file: InDesign CS3 (I do not have access to the native file)
Two PDF's of a two page spread sent to me as single page with type running across the fold. I get these a lot and always place them back into InDesign, fit them together mathematically and export a new PDF of the spread in one piece. Has always worked great in the past. Until now. See attachment. Good image with text lined up is the high res preview from InDesign CS3 where the images fit perfectly. The bad image is from the resulting PDF.
Do the exact same thing only using InDesign CS2 to put the pages back together and my resulting PDF looks fine.
It RIPs as it appears in these images in both cases. Bad from CS3. Good From CS2.
Any ideas?
