Avanti provides a complete JDF-certified business management software that runs commercial and in-plant print facilities. In business for over 25 years, Avanti specializes in software solutions for sheetfed, Web, digital, large format, and binderies with integrated modules, extending from the Internet through the shop floor, CRM, and invoicing.
The implementation specialist is assigned a portfolio of accounts at which to deploy our software. The deployment commitment includes: 65% training, 10% project coordination, 15% working with complex 3rd party integrations, and 10% consultative time. Working with the client, you are responsible to develop implementation plans, schedule and deliver training, and support the customer through the implementation process.
As an implementation specialist, you will call upon your "self-starter" expertise to become a product authority, delivering on the expectation to learn new software modules and workflow concepts at a very fast pace. You will analyze the customer's workflow and assist them to configure the software to fit their environment and, when required, drive process change.
You must have at least 3 - 5 years experience with:
* Software configuration and training
* Print management software administration
* Print industry (Web, sheetfed, digital, large format) manufacturing processes
* Print estimating concepts
* JDF/JMF on multiple devices
* Information technology project coordination
* Exposure to financial accounting package integration (e.g., MS Dynamics GP, Peachtree, QuickBooks)
* MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows desktop operating system
Skills/Education required:
* Graduate of a recognized Print Management program (e.g., Ryerson or RIT Graphics)
* Strong problem solving skills
* Navigation of difficult customer situations
* Communication of complex concepts to a diverse audience
* Working in a team setting
Nice to have - Working knowledge of:
* IIS 5.0, 6.0, 7.0
* Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008
* MS SQL 2000, 2005, 2008
* Xerox Process Manager and Print Manager
* Train-the-trainer certification
This is a full-time, traveling position with a minimum of 75% travel, the majority of which is in the USA. Candidates must be able to travel in the both the US and Canada.
