Another vote for Quite Imposing. We run digital web also, along with cut sheet machines. We use QI on all our cut sheet jobs, but our Prisma server lays out the web jobs.

Quite Imposing is fantastic, and it isn't a subscription. It is well worth the high-ish price. It has done everything I have ever thrown at it without issue. And I constantly learn of new ways I could utilize it that I had never thought of before. (Example: I recently learned that if a client sends me a layout in spreads, I can convert it to standard pages with just a couple clicks in Quite Imposing). Fantastic software, can't recommend it enough.

I went looking for cloud based imposition that has an api so we could automate the imposition from Good2Go. I found File Splice from Seattle area (really nice developer) and PDF Snake... and again, a really nice developer. I found PDF Snake to be more advanced offering many common layout support for flat and folded work. Also, the UX is very nice. In addition, PDF Snake has support for barcodes and corner marks that can be used by Duplo cutters. Also... Snake supports JDF. Links below for both.

If you'd like to try the demo I put together for another printer, upload a Business Card PDF to the following link and our automated system will kick back a step and repeat layout. The template used is designed for a 3.5"x2" card... so if you want to see accurate results, submit the right sized business card file. :-) Other sizes will work, but the results may be worthless.... the sheet size is fixed for a 13x22" sheet.

Upload file here:
After submission, you should get an email from Good2Go with the imposed file.
