Lead Perfect Binder Operator
Allied Bindery is a leader in post press services, located in Madison Heights Michigan, is seeking a Lead Perfect Binder Operator.
Specific Purpose of Position:
Set-up and operate perfect binder according to job specifications, Monitor continuous quality and pagination of materials, feed book covers into machine and complete required production and quality reports. Responsible for overall productivity, quality, efficiency and safe operation of perfect binding equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, adjust and maintain equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in the scheduling of binder runs
• Train and direct team members in binder operations.
• Participate in company training programs and process improvement teams.
• Perform other related duties and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
• Must have previous Bindery experience.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
• Good mechanical ability and use of tools.
• Good math and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Must be flexible to meet and adapt to schedules.
• Ability to move up 50 lbs. stand for long periods of time and use hands and wrists continuously.
