Position Summary and Essential Duties:
Under limited supervision, develops and implements corporate marketing plans to optimize sales and profit for the organization. Communicates marketing support programs to internal and external staff to ensure programs are executed in a timely manner. Develops and assists in pricing recommendations, advertising, merchandising and product improvement plans.


Job Specific Information:


The Marketing Advisor will own and determine the large format (Signs and Banners) print product direction and marketing objective. This includes gathering and evaluating pertinent data, statistics, customer trends and market research information to meet the overall organization objectives.


The position will be responsible for developing market potential, sizing and penetration reports, competitive strategies, consumer attitudes and preferences, customer segmentation, and product life cycle strategies. This role will be the voice of the customer during product solution development and execution, working with Promotions, Sales, Operations, Finance, Sales, Network Solutions, IT, eCommerce and other stakeholders to insure that we deliver compelling products at the right time with the right cost structure that positions us above the competition.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Own and manage the FedEx Office’s Large Print Solutions for Commercial, Small Business and Consumer segments
• Provide product management/marketing and execution support for FedEx Office Large Format Print products, services and solutions
• Perform frequent analysis and research on business and marketing capabilities and identifies opportunities to support revenue and profit objectives.
• Develop business cases for new solutions and product line extensions for FedEx Office Large Format products, services and solutions
• Develop and implement activities aimed at growing the revenue and profit of FedEx Office Large Format Print products, services and solutions
• Analyze and communicate product and project performance.
• Support the FedEx Office Retail, Online SMB and Commercial Channel by working with channel partners and customer segmentation managers to understand the voice of the customer and correlate research with product portfolio goals and on company initiatives.
• Lead or participate in the identification of business requirements needed for systems that support Product Marketing functions.
• Maintain strong ties to front line operations and key business partners to ensure successful product management/execution
• Lead and participate on cross-functional teams to support key company initiatives
Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in marketing, communications or related business discipline. Five (5) years’ work experience in marketing, sales, sales administration or related discipline. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing disciplines and information analysis. Demonstrated experience in leading major corporate initiatives. Experience in database marketing, telemarketing, promotions, pricing and financial analysis. Strong human relations, communication, organizational and analytical skills. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two years’ experience.
