Offset Continuous Forms Printing

Hi,
i'm clueless what is continuous forms printing. Couldn't really grasp the printing mechanism from the internet.
Anybody can lead me to have a quick understanding of the principal behind continuous forms printing?

Forms are printed on narrow web presses, usually from reel to reel offset. Then collated on reel collators so you can have multi part forms, you can number the forms when they are collated and perf them glue them etc.

Continuous Forms Printing

This type of printing is usually used for mailers. They are printed on a 1/2 web and are either roll to roll or fan fold. We print them on Sanden 8 color: 17, 22,28 x 21
We use UV ink because they are them imprinted on a laser printer.
