Years ago I quoted based on a tiered hourly rate depending on the the customer.
The Mama rate: She already paid a long time ago for anything she wants.
The Cousin rate: Discounted for clients easy to work with, whose business I want to keep.
The Regular rate: For new clients with good references.
The Deluxe rate: For people who are such a pain that it had darn well better be worth my while to put up with them.
