Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Fiery Business Unit in the Foster City office.
This individual will demonstrate clear ownership of the all outbound marketing activities for software products targeted at inkjet printing applications worldwide. The products span segments including inkjet proofing, control of inkjet production printing, photo processing, and cloud printing and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
• Create overall Go-to-Market plan for the products including messaging, channel, launch, programs, collateral and promotions
• Develop clear product positioning and messaging for various audiences and communication strategies
• Contribute to new product definition and business plans with product management
• Develop outbound marketing materials that position products against competitive offerings
• Work with Marcom to develop program marketing materials for end users as well as channel audiences
• Work within a global team to accomplish objectives
Job Requirements:
• B.A./B.S. degree required; MBA preferred
• Experience in business-to-business marketing
• Minimum 5+ years experience in high technology product marketing role
• Experience in the graphic arts industry, preferably in the inkjet proofing, packaging proofing, and inkjet production market segments. Knowledge of the different inkjet technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of multi-tier channels, OEMs and resellers with an emphasis on graphic arts and production printing channels
• Experience with launching products and producing go-to-market plans
• Experience implementing marketing programs including PR, online advertising, sales support materials, promotions, webinars, web site, and events. Experience with interactive media or web development a plus.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills, ability to identify interdependencies and overcome obstacles. Able to manage complex projects on time and deliver quality results.
• Ability to independently develop and/or lead the development of materials and strategic initiatives to influence the revenue growth of products
• Ability to successfully position a product and to communicate this positioning and the product benefits in a way that is truly compelling to the target audience
• Ability to analyze and track the business knowing when to make changes to stay on track and when necessary to develop creative solutions and innovative ideas to continue to deliver the forecast and strategic goals
