Rough feel to UV varnished finishes

Are any printers noticing a rough feel to UV varnished finishes lately?

This has only been occurring for about the last 12 months. Tried lots of different ideas but can't track down the cause. It is obviously offset spray under the UV varnish but why only over the last 12 months, and it is not all jobs that suffer it.

UV varnishing is offline (outsourced) Sun inks, Russell Webb spray powder, tried different grades of spray powder and a different manufacturer.

We had the same problem before, we switch the grade of powder from an R to a C. We currently use Varn C230 and Varn C270. The second option is to make sure you dust the sheets before you send it out for UV. We also have filters installed on the pumps to remove the powder out of the coating that is contaminated
